...is make a little Group44-inspired key fob. So I bought a brand new one from !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , sanded down the parts in blue and painted them in light green enamel. Finish isn't there yet, but here it is before then after :)

They've got a number of very neat key fobs out there, including a Cortina light one, but not enough are in metal. Most are just a pattern in lexan.

That's a shame :S as far as I can tell all the keyfobs from that company are patterns in metal. Either brand new designs or NOS :)
I wonder if there's a Rover/Falcon one there...

Neat :) that's surprising considering how few they sold here. They got near-universally panned in the press. Things like 'if we'd known that this was the new standard of handling, we woudn't have been so harsh on the MGC'.
I'm not sure how much they changed the suspension setup here to the US, but I know there were some changes. Can't remember if they firmed it up or softened it coming over here, but whatever they did may have fucked it a little :S

The company you've found seems to be a step above the ones I've looked at, certainly. It was just a pity with some of the ones I did find that they weren't high grade, for all that they were great designs. I do have a pewter and leather fob like that one around somewhere, a Rolls Royce one. Came with the key to my Rover - I don't think the previous owner had one, but knowing him I can't rule it out either.
